ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

The BBS RZ was produced in several sizes and fitments, and 15-inch BBS RZ 4×100 wheels are especially common on period BMW and Volkswagen applications.

These replacement center caps are intended for RZ wheels using the large approximately 171 mm center cap assembly. They replace the complete visible center section, including the waffle plate, locking mechanism and hexagon.

Do not select a center cap using the 4×100 bolt pattern alone. BBS produced many 4×100 wheels with different center openings and cap systems, so the original center cap dimensions and mounting arrangement should always be checked.

BBS RZ wheels use the traditional BBS cross-spoke or basketweave design and were produced as single-piece road wheels in numerous sizes and vehicle applications.

BMW enthusiasts commonly associate this style with BMW Style 5 wheels, while terms such as Euroweave are also widely used for similar BBS cross-spoke designs.

Because the wheel face resembles the famous BBS RS, RZ wheels are also regularly advertised incorrectly as “BBS RS”. The two wheel families are different. Classic BBS RS wheels are multi-piece wheels, while the RZ wheels covered by this listing are single-piece wheels with their own removable center cap system.

Choosing the correct replacement cap therefore depends on the wheel type and center cap dimensions rather than appearance alone.
