BMW manual shifter arm bushing designed as a replacement for the worn plastic bushing used in the rear support of the gear selector linkage. The original metal shifter linkage rear arm itself usually remains in good condition, while the plastic bushing becomes worn, brittle or develops excessive play over time. This replacement allows the original arm to be reused instead of replacing the complete assembly.

Replacing the bushing helps reduce unwanted shifter movement and restores more precise support of the gear selector mechanism.
