USB C smartphone fast charging module for center console of classic BMW E39 (5 series). Simple add-on to upgrade your youngtimer BMW 5 series center panel to allow charging USB-C accessories. Replaces central ashtray with this usb charging tray and make charging smartphones in your car easy. The charger supports fast charging (up to 24W / 3.4A) of iPhones as well as standard mobile phones / smartphones (fast charging protocols supported: BC1.2 QC2.0, QC3.0, FCP, AFC, SFCP….).

Module can be installed with minor modification of center console. When old ashtray is removed, the hole has to be drilled in bottom of the mounting bracket to allow cables to pass through to the cigarette lighter wires. This upgraded smart phone charger is compatible with all e39 models.

The chargers are designed in a way that no soldering or crimping is needed and you keep the 12V auxiliary port (cigarette lighter) functional. Front face is made with textured finish matching the rest of the dashboard.
