The BMW E46 Headlight Tab Repair Kit provides a simple solution for repairing broken or missing upper headlight mounting tabs without replacing the complete headlight housing. The replacement mounting brackets are positioned over the remains of the damaged original tabs and mechanically secured using the supplied screws.

Broken headlight mounting tabs are common on older E46 headlights after accident damage, previous headlight removal or simply years of use. If the headlight itself is still in good condition, replacing the damaged mounting points can be considerably easier than replacing the complete lamp.

Separate versions are available for pre-facelift and facelift BMW E46 headlights.

The upper mounting tabs are part of the structure that locates and secures the E46 headlight to the car. When one of these tabs breaks, the headlight itself may still be perfectly usable, but it can no longer be mounted correctly.

This E46 headlight mounting tab repair kit allows the damaged mounting point to be reconstructed without replacing the complete headlight.

The replacement tab is positioned against the remaining section of the original broken mounting point and secured mechanically to the headlight housing. Once installed, it creates a new mounting point in approximately the original position.
